All the laws that Obama signed would be null and void. The congress would have to do something, what I don’t know. Do you have to impeach someone that is illegally in office? What if the Senate Dems refuse to convict if there is an impeachment, Civil War? Epic constitutional and legal FUBAR. Yep they’re scared

And what about appointments?
Some might be _arguably_ legit: the ones confirmed by the Congress; OTHERS, however, would flat-out lose what legitimacy they have.

High Crimes...It does not mean "more serious". It refers to those punishable offenses that only apply to high persons, that is, to public officials, those who, because of their official status, are under special obligations that ordinary persons are not under, and which could not be meaningfully applied or justly punished if committed by ordinary persons. http://www.constitution.org/cmt/high_crimes.htm
