I went to a well known bank in the area today to do some business. The bankteller, maybe 20, had a huge hickie on her neck. I found it repulsive as she went out of her way to make it obvious. A mature thing would have been to wear a scarf, but then again I think she may have been about 12 based on that measuring scale. I contemplated on whether or not to talk to the manager. Don't know what was worse her attitude or the hickie?
ok you’re gonna put twitter out of business if you keep that up
Would it have been acceptable for her manager to just ask her to wear a burqa for folks like you who are offended by a kiss?
Lighten up, Francis.
yeah - your response works for me
Sounds like that's what the teller's boyfriend did...
Cheers!

But she hates vampires.
I'd fire you for your misuse of grammar.
But you'd probably sue.
I have some for sale. :-)
I would have asked her ; “What happened did someone burn you with a cigar?”
OMG.
When dalereed tells someone to “lighten up,” we are truly in the end times!
Next thing you know dogs and cats will be sleeping together!
WOW! I am really understanding why our Country is in the sh*thole. We have people like you putting us there. I am her customer, I am paying her salary, you and webster might want to look that word “customer” up. I would definitely feel the same way about a tattoo and a piercing. It doesn’t belong in the work place. I do have a life, a life of “morals”, another word you might like to educate yourself about.
Hey, despite all the freeper verbal abuse ;), you are right. Waiting on customers with a visible hickey on her neck really didn’t represent her employer well. Perhaps she is an upstanding employee and this is a fluke thing so the employer overlooked it. Who knows? The real problem you had with her seemed to be in her attitude. That’s frustrating when we as customers aren’t treated well.
Sorry you had to deal with it. Life is tough enough without having to put up with tellers with an attitude!
LOL. I guess my last post hit a nerve. I don’t need your support, actually didn’t expect it. The moral compass has definitely tilted to the left. I can remember, being a teen in the mid 80’s, and girls would go crazy trying to cover a hickey up. Worked with a girl that got disciplined for it, big time, and she didn’t even work with the public. Now its a good thing not only to have a hickey but add a tattoo and couple of piercings to go with it. And for a stupid post you sure do have a lot to say, so what does that say about you?
First, I’m really not into the bi thing, not that there is anything wrong with, just not for me. I don’t think it is a barometer of society’s decline, just from the post on here I know it is.
Being a jerseygirl, you got that right. But we don’t need a hickey to prove it.
I agree. We should all march right into that bank and giver her a good spanking. Then, we give the bank manager a spanking, too!
After that, they spank us.
Wait a minute, what were we talking about?
But if I see you with a porterhouse steak tied to your neck, I might very well start chewing on your neck.
You could help change her life!
Portwine stain birthmarks run in my family. They can be debilitating...but, in todays world I would think being called out—about a birthmark could be a blessing in disquise. A customer of my employer makes an ugly comment about my appearance. My feeling are hurt, I am embarrassed infront of my co-workers. What to do? Quit? Cry in the break room? Why...I know...lawyer up.
And then have enough money (from the sweet out of court settlement) to pay for the laser surgery to remove the birthmark!
Seriously...many people have vascular birthmarks...calling attention to someones appearance (because you don’t like it) is cruel at best...and law suit inducing at worst.
Bears get hickeys all the time...but they don't show. Or they stay home from work.
