The same night Dancing with the Stars finalist Bristol Palin got drunk for the first time, she also lost her virginity.
According to the Associated Press, the reality television star reveals in her new memoir, Not Afraid of Life: My Journey So Far, that she slept with ex-boyfriend Levi Johnston during a camping excursion. The 20-year-old, who now has a little boy named Tripp, claims to have woken up all by herself in the tent with no memory of what had happened.
Palin, a Candies Foundation abstinence spokesperson, says former squeeze Johnston talked with his friends on the other side of the canvas while she tried to figure out what had gone on. When she asked Johnston about having intercourse, he said they wouldnt do the deed again until they tied the knot.
Things didnt work out this way, as Palin says she and her man became intimate again soon after the camping trip. Palin, who had been on contraceptive pills to treat bad cramps, finally realized she was pregnant in 2008 after taking eight pregnancy tests. (Levi Johnston to write memoir.)
When she told Johnston that theyd be having a child, Palin writes that he responded, Better be a (expletive) boy.

What you posted does not change a thing. You can perfume a pig but it’s still a pig.
How much would you charge for an intimate description of your first sexual encounter? We all have one such story, but it is not retold in book form. At one time propriety was a virtue; apparently no more. There is nothing to be learned from her deflowering account. It just coarsens behavior. I still contend that if you do it for money you are still a whore.
LOL, You haven't read the book. We ALL know that it won't be an "intimate description". A simple, straightforward mention of being date raped on a camping trip is relevant, especially when you are now the national spokeswoman for TWO abstinence charities, and one of the most prominent faces of the pro-life movement.
I'm not making excuses...just being realistic. Teenagers are going to do things they don't want their parents to know about. And parents have to trust their kids somewhere along the line. My parents trusted me by the age of 17. Did I do things I didn't want them to know? Yes. But I never did anything really bad...because I didn't want to disappoint or embarrass them...we lived in a really small town.
My friends and I smoked...kept them in a coffee can under a tree on a dirt road. That was our biggy risque thing. We also had a 10 o'clock curfew. We were "normal" back then...would probably be social goody-goody misfits today.
The article didn’t mention if she was intoxicated all the other times they had sex.
I don’t think she abstained much all those other times, did she?
What are those dates again of when she became an abstinence spokesman versus the dates that you are claiming?
I do not know when she became an abstinence spokesperson. What I was saying, is that she doesn’t seem to have practiced abstinence much. The article said they continued to have sex after that first time.
Moving from having sex with your high school sweetheart, to becoming an abstinence advocate, doesn’t seem like an unusual journey to me.
Too much information. Falls under the heading of stuff I don’t want to know.
No, it doesn’t. If you notice, I said she doesn’t seem to have practiced it after the first time.
I guess you did go to the trouble post that.
What are you saying? She was given rohypnol , or such, to make her compliant? How do you KNOW if of what you are posting? Do you have inside information?
Bristol representing TWO abstinence charities puts her in the league with Jimmy Swaggert, Baker, Elmer Gantry, and the likes. She has nothing to offer young girls. She’s just another fallen angel and that story has been told over and over again by a multitude of folks. Adding her voice to that issue will not make an iota of difference. And, making a livelihood of of it is cynical.
That was an odd reply to post 62.
Another thing that seems odd when reading that post, and your other posts about Bristol Palin, is that you do not come off in your posting style as the sort of person that would normally be so concerned about morality.
And you seem like a person up to his eyeballs in situational morality. Good luck with that.
But, this has degenerated into ad hominem attacks on each other; that is usually a good time to cease and desist.
No, what I said was rational and seems to fit the facts, aside from having had sex with her high school sweetheart as a teen years ago, Bristol Palin seems to be a heck of a fine young lady.
On top of that, her having no memory afterward might indicate roofies (date rape drug).
Where were Bristol's parents?
When my daughter was 16, she went on several coed camping trips with alcohol and slept in the same 4 person tent with two males and one other female: One of the males was called "Dad", the other male was called "Brother" and the other female was called "Mom". The alcohol was a glass of wine that Mom and Dad had with dinner around the camp fire.
The parents have a huge degree of responsibility here too.
Maybe I'm just too d@mned old. Maybe, raised in the 1960's Cuban immigrant culture that was stuck in a mirror image of the 1950's Main Street American culture, I am a dinosaur and have been since I was a kid.
Maybe it makes me as Paleo-Conservative as you can get but I just do not understand how supposedly "conservative" parents can allow their 16 year old daughter to go on an unsupervised, coed camping trip, especially with a scumbag like Levi Johnston.
Yes, around this corner of the Left Coast, high school camping trips are a common practice but I always thought that this was because this geographic area is crawling with liberals slightly to the right of Che Guevara. We did not even allow our son to go on those camping trip.
What has happened to American parenting norms since the mid-1960's?
Whatever happened to the TV stations that would ask, every single night, "It's 10 PM. Do you know where your chidren are?"
In 1963, the answer, "My 16 year old daughter is on an unsupervised, coed camping trip with her boyfriend" would have shocked 100% of the "conservative" parents in America and 90% of the "liberal" parents as well.
I know that, to many here, Sarah can do absolutely no wrong but Todd and Sarah really failed Bristol in this particular area.
As the current father of a 16 year old girl, I am 100% with you.
As the current father of a 16 year old girl, I am 100% with you.
