Yes, very much so.
Totally - I have to keep hitting the F5 key to refresh all the time. Wazzup???

I get much - Service Temporarily Available - error messages
Explantion: Down for maintenance or over capacity
Yeah almost every click brings up the ‘Service Temporarily Unavailable’ page and then you usually have to click the ‘refresh’ button once, twice, or five times before you get anywhere. It’s a pain in the rear-end, but I am presuming that John or somebody is working on the FR software?

Yes. Not slow. Not down. But it keeps sending out that Service Temporarily not Available notice.
Something is up. Maintenance, overcrowding, hacker attack, whatever.
When FR seems to be having problems, I usually visit Yahoo! FreeRepublic2. (Yahoo FR 1 was kidnapped.) There is often a discussion there if the site is down, and sometimes an explanation from Jim or John.

This seems to be a little different tonight. Refresh a few times and that can get through, but probably also overloads the site even more. And if you aren’t careful, it can produce multiple replies.
Works well for me. Unusually snappy.
