Yeah it really seems to have touched a lot of people in a good way. Its not a particularly patriotic song but the video comes across that way.

It’s easy to understand why combat troops find it appealing.

But just in general, it’s a monumental accomplishment of timing and coordination with the cooperation of hundreds and hundreds of people. For $40K?

If the leftists tried to do this, it would have cost $40Meg, and all their cronies would be adding to their overseas “retirement” accounts.

Thanks again.

“I’d hit it, then mention how cats don’t have homes, then run away while she collapsed on the floor, in tears and in the fetal position, while she sobbed uncontrollably.”

That’s the basic recipe for creating these girl-women who retreat from the world into their own ever-expanding, hairball-strewn cat-temples and who get this emotional over another species rather than little ones from our own. Have fun.

That tracking shot is right up there with the greats: “Touch of Evil”, “The Player”, “Goodfellas”, etc... and more ambitious than all of them. Absolutely incredible what’s done there in a single shot. The DP is Andrew Tingley. I’m going to remember that name.

Using that beautiful live version of the song was a very nice touch.

Ebert’s right on this one. It’s the best music video I’ve ever seen.

Awesome work, Grand Rapids.
