I know this is hard for you to understand, but a person would have to have next to zero self esteem to have to defend this kind of comment with more effort than I expended. The ‘I bow to no man!’ is the pit bull lover’s defense of fragile ego hence the need to identify with excessively aggressive dogs. Those of us with self esteem can give a little credit where a little credit is due, or survive a snarling rebuttal without being fazed, without feeling like our self esteem is being diminished - hence I do not need to to own or support vicious dog breeds.

Better hitch your skirt up before it gets caught in the chain.

Well, if you're going to quote me, at least show me the respect of a courtesy ping.

"... - hence I do not need to to own or support vicious dog breeds.

The only "vicious" dog breed I own these days is a Chihuahua (his name is Jerry Lee, but we call him "Killer"!) Does that offend your liberal sensibilities, too?

"The ‘I bow to no man!’ is the pit bull lover’s defense of fragile ego hence the need to identify with excessively aggressive dogs."

No son, the "I bow to to man!" is the American defense against any invasion of private property rights.

(Didn't they teach you this stuff in school?)
