Man with dead weasel accused of assault

HOQUIAM, Wash. – Police say a man was carrying a dead weasel when he burst into an apartment and assaulted a man in Washington state.

The victim asked, "Why are you carrying a weasel?" Police said the attacker answered, "It's not a weasel, it's a marten," then punched him in the nose and fled.

Missed me by a mile. I was in the laundry room, doing two loads.

I still have two to go, but will do them Monday. I can only handle so much clean at one time. </sarc

I wish I could do two loads (or four) at a time. Bill and Tom are home with lots of Filth. Tom lost a lens out of his glasses. Bill’s in a snit (probably over the dragon).

I told Tom we’d go down to the optometrist on Monday, and I have the receipt for the warranty still in my wallet. “Doesn’t show much confidence!” he said. “Well, was I right?”

Laundry, trip to Walmart, etc., etc. DP is going sailing.

Actually, keeping the receipt shows great confidence in the fact Tom is a boy and will do boy-things, often resulting in breakages. And not always to things that concern him personally.

I have to go hang up my clothes. I thought after I got out of the laundry room that I should probably have dried all of them there instead of just the sheets and towels. *sigh*

I’ve lost a total 35 pounds. Nothing fits like it used to. I can’t decide if it’s a good thing, because it means buying all new clothes a few sizes smaller. Another 15 pounds and I should be in a 12, which is what I was when I had to quit work.

I like it, but my skin sags where I least expect it.
