HOQUIAM, Wash. Police say a man was carrying a dead weasel when he burst into an apartment and assaulted a man in Washington state.
The victim asked, "Why are you carrying a weasel?" Police said the attacker answered, "It's not a weasel, it's a marten," then punched him in the nose and fled.

Good morning! Are you still in Arkansas?
We’re all loafing around today.

It’s been cool here for a couple of days, but we’re supposed to get back into the 90s by Tuesday. It’s July, after all.
I guess I’d better check my plants for more tomato hornworms!

No hornworms today. However, I discovered that a grass-looking thing growing in the herb garden is producing cockleburs. I’ll go out with gloves later and pull them up and bag them. They looked harmless until now!

Glad you liked it. Steven Greydanus said it was good. Bill and Tom leave for camp tomorrow. I’m sure they’ll hear all about it from their up-to-date friends.

Do I want to see the final movie before I have seen the last one? Or do I want to wait for the DVD’s to come out and watch them on the same day?
One of these years, I’ll have all the movies on DVD.

You two enjoy the evening/night. It won’t be the same without sionnsar (she says, sadly...)

Some theaters are showing all the movies in order. You would have to block out an entire day but it could be fun.
I am under orders to stay home with my feet up so maybe next week.

I think you could enjoy this movie without seeing the previous one, if you’ve read the book. Steven Greydanus at “Decent Films” says that the first movie did not adequately set up this one, but that wouldn’t be a problem if you know the plot already.

Could I stand ALL the movies in order?
Maybe...I watched all three LOTR movies one weekend. And the next weekend, I watched all six of the accompanying discs. Movies are good.

I’ve not only read all the books, but I’m about to read them again. I just hate coming in at Intermission.
