Indeed so. Most of everything is nothing.
Even half of everything on the Internet is nothing (zero). Ones and zeroes, that's it.
Without zero, where would one be?
Sorry I've been missing in action recently. I took a misstep from a ladder on Saturday, and have been resting and recuperating since then. I'm almost okay, but I could have said that at any time in the last several years.
Being back on your feet, and not being wobbly, are not entirely the same thing.
Morning!
Howdy!
I take my “Howdy” duty seriously.
No, wait ...
Sorry about your fall, Bob! Be sure to wear shoes.
The Crack Lawn Service is mowing, having put it off a couple of days too lawn. And here’s Anoreth back from an Expotition. She says PetsMart was out of crickets.
LOL!
Many decades ago, I said, "Youth is my insurance".
Apparently, that policy has now lapsed.
Without nothing, there couldn't be something, or anything, ‘afaic’.
Thanks Ladies. I may try this. I have some fresh mint growing in pots at both house doors (to keep the ants out), so I could add some to the water. I have lavender too, but I hate to cut it....it’s so pretty.
Would Oregano help? It’s taken over my flower garden and lawn.
Sounds like you’re 4 short Sis!
Were there any dragons around you lately?
All I have to do now is summon the patience to not do something stupid that exacerbates my condition.
Unfortunately, I still have all the things I meant to do several days ago. Must resist the temptation to commit exercise.
It’s like Texas Hold’em Bob.
Sometimes you have to fold AJs or pocket 6’s to ensure you stay in the tournament. One hand at a time wins.
Response redacted.
The dragons have not been known to snarf human toes, although I haven’t checked Bill’s lately. I cut the toenails of all four byos’ last night; you might have heard the screaming. If they’re annoying me, I can always say, “Go away, or I’ll cut your toenails!” and they vanish.
Kind of like AA’s One day at a time, but for tournament poker.
Frank knocked over the lamp in DP’s nightstand and broke the stupid ObamaLite CF bulb. I replaced it with a nice 100W incandescent.
They’re expensive at the moment, but the replacement for the CFL bulb will be the LED bulb. It produces more light for less energy, and does not require HAZMAT procedures for clean-up.
Currently, aside from price, the only problem inherent to LEDs of which I am aware is an occasional inadequate supply of heat sink compound at the base of the LED.
Eventually, these lamps should be even cheaper than incandescents or CFLs, but somebody has to pay the price of pushing the envelope.
I swept it up in the Dyson Supervac and tossed the bits out with a bag of soggy diapers. The thing about a supposedly long-life bulb is that when the baby knocks the lamp over, that’s it.
Hi, T-C. Belated, but still sincere Thank You for the “goodies” we received. I am finally getting some time to do things other than work and chasing legal matters after sion’s death. It’s all been rather overwhelming - no will, no file with information on where things are or what’s to be done with them..... I just have to take things slowly and leave the dusting and vacuuming for later. Having spent several weeks fighting allergies, asthma and bronchitis, now it’s the dreaded sinus infection. Steroids are the pits! especially when trying to lose weight. I’ll have to give that up in order to breathe.
Anoreth, I am glad you got to come home for a while. I know you really don’t like it out here at all. Before you leave this coast, I hope I get to burn you something on the grill....
Oregano- contains strong immune-enhancing and antioxidant properties and supports the respiratory system.
Peppermint- sooths digestion and has a supportive effect on the liver and respiratory systems. It improves concentration and mental sharpness and may also directly affect the brain's satiety center, which triggers a sensation of fullness after meals.
Spearmint- antioxidant, spearmint helps support the respiratory and nervous systems and is emotionally soothing.
Lavender- soothing and refreshing. It can wind you down at the end of the day or pep you up if you need it too. It may be used to soothe and cleanse common cuts, bruises, and skin irritations.
Lemon peel- revitalizing and uplifting. Is a powerful antioxidant and can be beneficial for the skin. It is a tonic for supporting the nervous and sympathetic nervous system.
There are also other nice scents, even combinations that you can use. Let me know what you are looking for and I will see what I can come up with.
Good morning, and I’m glad to know the basket arrived.
Oh dear, no will. I’m sure you’ve been through a lot of confusion. We’ll pray for your recovery in that damp climate!
