HOQUIAM, Wash. Police say a man was carrying a dead weasel when he burst into an apartment and assaulted a man in Washington state.
The victim asked, "Why are you carrying a weasel?" Police said the attacker answered, "It's not a weasel, it's a marten," then punched him in the nose and fled.

LOL! AF is Colorado, Annapolis is Navy :)
She’s long been into Marine Science - although she is currently enamored with forensics........
“Would you remember if you did? “
LOL!
LOL!
Well, yes.
LOL!
How ya doin? It’s been a while.
Those huge, dilated pupils tell all. Stand clear!
I wanted to do that, but they wouldn’t let me fly with my glasses on, and corrective corneal surgeries were expensive, and risky, so I politely declined. If I were going to be in a position that could involve me in mortal combat, I wanted to have a supersonic airborne weapons system platform at my beck and call.
Well, it’s a Siamese.
Double-check what styles you can get before you commit to that. The last two pairs of prescription glasses I've had CAME WITH a pair of sunglasses that "clip" on magnetically. The downside is that there's a separate piece to keep track of, but the upside is there's no waiting for the color of my lenses to lighten up when I come in from outdoors, and there are no situations where UV emissions from interior lighting fool my lenses into staying darkened.
You may still want the all-in-one self-darkening lenses, but survey the range of available options before you commit; you may run across something else you like better.
This helps explain why I do not live in the more northerly or mountainous regions of the country; obtaining a vehicle large enough to successfully take on a bull elk, brown bear, or -- Heaven forbid -- a moose, is a bit beyond my fiscal ability.
This is the kind of car I drive daily (though mine's an LS, not the base model), and you can see that it does not perform well when put up against a full-grown moose. I doubt the family Aerostar would fare much better.
When (if?) I get to the place where I can afford something bigger, relocating to areas infested with elk, bears, or moose might then be an option.
I just had a text from ‘Face. She had a fall yesterday and has a concussion. One of her sisters lives there and is helping her out, but she’s not feeling at all well right now.
Thanks TC. Do you think she can recieve an email on whatever she texted from?
I don’t know. I assume it’s just a phone. Would you like the number - you could call if you can’t text.
I will keep you in my prayers. Get well!
Elen is at “CSI” camp at UNC-Charlotte this week. I’m sure she’s having a very interesting time.
Yes please.
Thanks.
No doubt about it. Those house elves are marvelous cooks.
But I think the kids liked the pumpkin juice better than the rolls.
I just can’t get into the idea of pumpkin juice. Why not prune juice, a warrior’s drink?
Commander Worf agrees with you.
I'm sure the pumpkin juice comes from the whole wizards and magic scenario. Pumpkins are associated with Halloween, witches, and stuff like that.
Much of what J. K. put together was simply playing. What, for example, is one supposed to do with a rat while in school?
I'm not complaining. She showed a wonderful imagination, and reading the books is a great gateway drug for heavier tomes.
Oh, I know, but the concept made me cringe. Of course, people "juice" all kinds of bizarre substances these days.
You could feed the rat to a snake - or, according to the Reptile Network, to a Chinese Water Dragon, if the rat is small enough and the dragon is big enough. I told my friend we could take the dragon on Thursday.
I have trimmed the catz' claws, and now they're pouting. Shannon is sitting on a recipe for "pesto pizza with arugula and goat cheese." I hope she shreds it.
You should have some pet goats. Then you could make your own cheese in your spare time.
