HOQUIAM, Wash. Police say a man was carrying a dead weasel when he burst into an apartment and assaulted a man in Washington state.
The victim asked, "Why are you carrying a weasel?" Police said the attacker answered, "It's not a weasel, it's a marten," then punched him in the nose and fled.

If so, who would listen? “Folks” are sceptable.
I have learned to hate the visions as well as the precursors. Since 1968....when I was first aware...
Xactly. Go have a good sleep.
Dreamer...
I didn't say anything about love. Are you under the impression that "Cowboys and Aliens" is a love story?
You've been watching too much "Brokeback Mountain".
.
Ahem.
In any interesting story, the reader or viewer has to identify with the main character.
It works better if we don't produce training films for mass-murderers, so the default emotional connection is affection.
So I guess every story has to have love in it somewhere. Let me see if I can develop some kind of plot out of that idea.
Hmm. "Boy meets girl. Boy falls in love."
Okay, I think I'm on the right track here. Now if I can figure out what to do next ...
It has rained here.
Indeed. It has rained here also.
Nocturnal cooling may actually occur once more.

LOL!!
How dare you ping me to this sordid thread?
Thanks, I misplaced you ;-)

Me ytoo!
I love chicks!!......don’t quite understand em, but I love em nonetheless!
Well, I figured, as Arlo Guthrei said, one big pile is better than two little piles.
And that you'd get it sordid out sooner or later.
I saw a cloud.
Oops. Arlo Guthrie, that is.
Woody Guthrie’s son.
Better check its other side.
You can never be too careful.
I remember Woodie....let alone Arlo. Woody Guthrie and Sonny Terry....too bad he was a socialist. He wrote great songs ;-)
and?

I had a little farm and I called that Heaven,
Prices up, the rain come down,
I hauled my crops all into town
I got the money...bought the clothes and groceries,
Fed my kids...and I was raising me a family.
But the wind quit and the rain got high
Black old dust storm filled the sky,
So I swapped my farm for a Ford machine,
I poured it full of this gas-i-lene
It started...rocking and rolling
Out of that old Dust Bowl out towards the old California...Peach Bowl
Well, its a way up yonder on a mountain road
Had a hot motor and a heavy load
I was going pretty fast, wasnt even stopping
Bouncing up and down like a popcorn popping
Had a breakdown...some guy with a nervous bust-down, then another
I remember there was a mechanic feller there, alongside the road
He charged me thirteen dollars, said it was...uh, engine trouble

Now, now. No discouraging words.
Who? Meeeeeeeeeeeee?
;-)
I had three close calls with animals on my way home.
A doe with a fawn ran across teh road in front of me around teh corner from my job.
Further down the road some IDIOT let a greyhound loose, it was in the road and I missed it by a hair.
I think the semi behind me got him.
About seven miles from my front door, a buck is standing in the highway looking lost and sniffing the pavement.
I missed him merely because he stood still and watched me swerve around him.
The semi behind me got him for certain.
Buzzards eat well in bad times.
Notice I didn’t mention any names.
Still, it was good to know I don’t have any heart issues, just adrenaline jitters.
