AMERICAN FORK -- No matter how cool a teenager's mom and dad may be, few teens get through high school without their parents embarrassing them.
But an American Fork teen has had to put up with his dad embarrassing him the entire school year.
There's not much worse for a high school student than having your dad wave at you as you get on the school bus every morning. Just ask Rain Price, who is thrilled the school year is finally over.
That's because his dad is there to bid him farewell every morning, but he's taken the embarrassment factor to a new level -- he's always wearing a crazy costume.
"When he did it the first day I was in shock," Rain said. "It's my first day of sophomore year."
The idea caught on for Dale Price and he wore a costume to wave at the bus all year long.
Because being named Rain isn’t bad enough....
I noticed the same leg in every picture. I am assuming that he has a prosthetic leg. He definitely has a great sense of humor.
Heh! I’ll have to remember that.
LOL
Thanks MT3...I didn’t notice that! Geez. One of the vids said he lost his leg in a motorcycle accident over 30 years ago.

I used to keep my then fifth grader in line by threatening to do the Moonwalk in the school lobby in front of her friends. (Note: I cannot do the Moonwalk at all).
But all I had to was put my right foot behind my left foot, and she would try to rush me out of the building. It seemed to be the only way I could get her away from her friends when I picked her up.
No harm, no foul, Daffynition. I am sure this man would even laugh that you didn’t notice.
I’m sorry, but there is nothing cool about this. If my father would have stood in sight of my friends wearing a mermaid costume with a seashell brassiere I would have ran away that very night. I really feel sorry for that kid.
LOL, Dave Barry is a treasure.
When my son started varsity sports after the first game, he hugged me and said, “Mom, I heard you cheering for me during the game!” I was so glad he knew I was cheering for him. Then he says, “You know, I don’t want to hear you again, okay?”
Yeah, I was embarassing enough to my children without going out of my way - just being me. ;)
Yeah, some years they just seem to be embarrassed to have parents.
