Lawyers for a West Point cadet who says bodyguards for soul singer Patti LaBelle beat him while he was waiting for a ride at a Houston airport released security video Thursday showing the student being pushed and punched by two men and a woman.

Freepers seem to be talking about lawsuits, but this is assault and battery. Why haven’t the bodyguards been arrested? First get them convicted, then sue LaBelle into oblivion.

Bottom line: Even IF they asked him to move, and even IF they asked him nicely and he refused, and even IF the victim had turned around and called them nasty names, there is no justification, none, zero, nada, for what followed. From what I can see in the video, this cannot be justified by the thugs and their diva in any way, shape or form.

The thug "bodyguard" came up, thumped his chest against the victim and "got in his face". Gee, where have we heard THAT before?

Then after the three of him caused the injury and the other two walked away, here is the guy lying on the pavement in a concussed state while the guy straddles him. What do your eyes tell you the "bodyguard" is doing here?

This wasn't a snapshot in a second, the guy stood there for at least ten seconds in skip action video on the surveillance video (which means it was even longer) jawing at him.

I was raised in Houston and back then there was true law..I have relatives still living there and they say the crime rat has really gone through the roof..I have not visited there in some years..Welfare has taken over that city too..Well the portion of the people do not live in the city but suburbs..The law is not the law and the people elect on color of skin..

The police that didn’t question the several eyewitnesses at the scene.

The police that didn’t review the video until AFTER making the report.

The police that posed with LaBelle for photos.

The police that are now ‘reviewing’ their actions ...

Let's just say that when they only take statements from one side and don't question independent witnesses that there is room for it to not be so truthful.
