I think her strategy will be to campaign in blue states. That will be unconventional. The conventional way is to campaign in battleground states

Absolutely. The moment Palin declares, it’s a two man race. And nutless Romney is the donkey.

I simply don’t believe the poll numbers on Romney....

It has nothing to do with him being a Mormon. It has everything with him being a “phoney” Blue Blood RINO to his very core. He is a Dem masquerading as a Pubbie.

There is NO WAY I will vote for NittWitt Mitt, EVER.....

NO WAY.

The Dems know there are a lot of others like me and drool over the prospect of a 3rd party to toss them the election if Mitt gets the nomination. This would be the death knell for the Republican Party.

Surely the National Republican officials understand this. If they don’t they are really stupid.

ONLY THE DEMS AND RINOS WANT ROMNEY TO GET THE NOMINATION.

I keep wondering if Glenn Beck will have anything to do with Palin’s run?

Interesting timing coming down the road after August...

Employ the first dude heavily in campaigning. He’s the kind of guy regular Americans can really relate to and sappy swing-voter women voters could easily be swayed by him.

She is taking revenge, post VP election Romney crew attacked her and her family, they even attacked her after 2010 election. She is just having fun, under Romney skin.

I think you are right about her singling out the perceived front-runner. Why waste energy and resources alienating the others? I think Cain really likes her

She isn’t running but wants attention anyway. She is this year’s Howard Dean as a small state Gov with a following of true believers who will be something in the party. She just doesn’t need to declare to get there though.

I appreciate you laying out your thoughts, it’s not bad at all reasoning and I like your honesty in doing it. No one has a crystal ball.

I will give you a more difficult question you can think about. When will she officially announce a candidacy ? and what about her relationship/employment at FNC relating to it? How does that help her win the nomination, versus hurt her or keep her out due to legal problems?

A good ‘present analysis’ in which we are witnessing the next Reagan and just as RR, Palin’s real advantage is her strong principled foundation, faith and positive outlook.
She will deploy a lot of RR’s thinking in the most unconventional campaign in the US in a century.

Has Palin said this yet, “Recession is when your neighbor loses his job. Depression is when you lose yours. And recovery is when Jimmy Carter loses his.”
— Ronald Reagan

Doc, there is a reasonable chance that the NH winner could be someone other than Mitt. Many McCain voters in western part of state are anti-Romney, anti-Palin. Opens the door there for another horse.

Today in New Hampshire:
Rudy Giuliani, Meeting with New Hampshire Union-Leader publisher Joe McQuaid
Jon Huntsman: Belknap County Republicans’ “Lincoln Day” cruise, Lake Winnepesaukee, N.H.

Trouble for Mitt. Doc, good luck in Dubuque.
