Every West thread has a coupla FR’s come in and state this UNTRUTH
The only two reasons I can think of as to why is: they are misinformed on both counts or
they have another horse in the race...and are practicing ‘soft praise’ that pretends “I like him BUT...”

He is not running NOW - he's not going to jump in and join the current dog pony show between the plethora of candidates and the media frenzy whose trying to decide who our candidate will be. (Remember, Reagan didn't declare until November. Anyone who can't make their case in a full year before elections shouldn't be running. They should be doing the job they were elected to do.
Col. West is going to use the next 5-6 months to learn the machinations of the wheeler dealers in DC.

We've had enough of ‘seasoned’ politicians. He's an intelligent man. He'll learn what he needs to re DC - fast. He's scarring the bejeebers out of them down there. Name one other freshman congressman who's getting the coverage he is?
As for the issues - name one he isn't conversant on and on the right side of. Go to YouTube and listen to the clips - on immigration, on Islam, on Israel, on the Constitution, etc - name one other candidate whose as strong on the Constitution and protecting America, who knows who and what our enemy really is, ...
name one other candidate - ‘seasoned in WAshington” or not - that is as knowledgeable on the issues - or as true blue PROVEN Conservative
No one intimidates this man and he does not ‘speak PC.’ and NO ONE puts words in his mouth...(not even Greta)

If you have another candidate you prefer, fine. Be honest about it. Don't post inaccurate information that might steer people away from him as a candidate.
I hope FREEPERS won't put up with the ‘soft praise’ tactics this time around.

I am praying West runs. He is my perfect (so far) candidate.
Like it or not West has said he is not ready....apparently you are not listening as well as you would have us believe.
Now you can fluff all you want otherwise, but I heard him and he is wise to be right where he is. Being a Military LT.Col. he is going to check out the terraine before he attacks....you can be sure of that...and they won’t know what he’s up to. He will take the time to do so...again he is not a fool.
West will play his cards exactly as he wants to regardless of those who might want to push him ahead of “HIS” game. ...and it is his game to play.
Your problem is you can’t discern those who are supporting him and those who are not.

He has asked the people who support him for this because he does understand what this will mean. Very clear and precise about this.....Making his last words...."If it be His will...it'll be taken care of, alright? "...means nothing more than posing a question to his followers to trust God for him and the path he travels.
Further I resent the fact you are so close to name calling anyone not fully in West's court. He's just getting notoriety and I for one will let him attain that..which he can do without being pushed ahead of his game.
And by the way....West would be up against Obama and no doubt beat him in a heartbeat....but you are forgetting the bad taste Obama has put in mouth of many who voted for the first black man as Pres. They are not going to risk another failure in their eyes twice...if they voted to be a part of the popular crowd who did vote Obama because of his color. I worked with people who did just that...they will not do so again . Some people don't want to hear this but it's out there and we all know that it is..it's the reality of where the nation is right now...
For that I do not want to see West's abilities to be wasted before his time. Let him be appointed on the team..and then let him fly...he's got a good start..and I hope maintains that.
