Jerome Corsi tells radio legend Barry Farber that he believes Donald Trump was working with the White House on Obama's birth certificate.

They go through the trouble of staging photos of something as trivial as a phone call. You couldn’t put anything past people that would do such a thing.

I think he was just seeking info for the White Hut legal beagles when he contacted Corsi to see what evidence he had on Obama’s forged bc document.

It's fun to tie up your entire world view into a neat hierarchy, but that's just not how people operate.
Trump was horrifically burned by his handling of the BC issue. Burned by NBC / his sponsors, which were going to pull the plug on Apprentice. Burned in public in the correspondent's dinner. Burned in the media for being 'racist'.
For whatever his motives to go after Obama, it was clearly personal and original to him. The idea he would subject himself to that sort of abuse on behalf of someone else goes against 25 years of Trump's public persona.
Obama is a buffoon, shielded and aided by the media. He's not some octopus mastermind, with tentacles reaching everywhere, controlling every little aspect of anything that might affect him. Corsi is imagining everything through a certain lens, which distorts every fact until it fits his conclusion.
It would've been to Obama's benefit to continue drawing out the birth certificate issue and watching Republican candidates squirm and give mealy-mouthed half-answers every time they're asked if they think the President was born in Hawaii. Then, next September or October after various States have passed birther bills and every candidate was on the record regarding Obama's birth certificate, he'd release his long form and make the whole issue look silly.
Releasing it now only helps Republicans, taking this absurd conspiracy off the table and giving them the opportunity to say that the issue has been settled. For this, we can thank Trump.
Trump was the butt of 90% of the jokes at that press club dinner. I doubt he set himself up for love of Obama.
I think the press’s response to him shocked him and that’s why he dropped out.
The only way he’ll convince me is if Trump is going to run, he changes parties and runs as a Democrat. If he goes indy, yes, he’s working with O. It’s divide and conquer.
Well that’s an interesting theory and a lame attempt to make the Trump BC debacle look better than it was. The reality is that he took a legitimate NBC issue and bungled it. Obama forges a BC and it’s over. The rest of the Republicans weren’t going to deal with it no matter what. so Trump and Soros can KMA.

The key will be the donald’s favors granted in IL on casino licenses. Trump will ignore jokes about him, even exposure of his motives, if he can profit from his services to those he was working for.
