Neither Quix, myself or any other of the usual group of fundamentalists thought that Camping was right the first time in 1994, this latest time or even now with this October 21st date. The only ones who are making a big deal out of this idiot's claims are those like yourself who think you've got this whole "End of Days" thing figured out because some old, dead guy with a funny looking pointed hat several hundred years ago wrote something down and you Catholics clung to it like a fat man clings to his Snickers bar in a Weight Watchers meeting. Those same guys, I might add, were not chosen by Christ but were instead second, third or even fourth hand recipients of the information held in Scripture, yet you Catholic lemmings accepted it as fact because you're told to do so.
Let me make myself bluntly clear here. You and all your ilk who think that the Catholic Church is the only Church who knows the Truth can go pound sand for all I care. I've seen enough hatred, jealousy, envy, bitterness and anger out of the resident Catholics on this board to prove to myself over and over and over again that any claims that the Roman Catholic Church makes towards being the only true Church are outright falsehoods straight from the pits of Hell itself. Christ Himself said that His followers would be known by their fruits and that men do not gather figs from thistles. Well guess what, the only Churches which I have ever found that meet that standard are the Orthodox Church and the Fundamentalist Churches who are striving to return to the fundamentals of the Faith.
So really, give it a rest already. If you and your ilk are what passes for "Christian", and you're reflecting your "Christ", then I don't want anything to do with you or your "Christ".
Thank God that He made His word available to us so I didn't have to rely on the witness of Catholics to understand what Christ really was like.
