Mitch Daniels is not running for president due to family considerations. This below was forwarded to me in an email.
From: Eric Holcomb (Indiana Republican Party Chairman) The following is from Governor Mitch Daniels…. “I hope this reaches you before the public news does. If so, please respect my confidence for the short time until I can make it known to all.
The counsel and encouragement I received from important citizens like you caused me to think very deeply about becoming a national candidate. In the end, I was able to resolve every competing consideration but one, but that, the interests and wishes of my family, is the most important consideration of all. If I have disappointed you, I will always be sorry. If you feel that this was a non-courageous or unpatriotic decision, I understand and will not attempt to persuade you otherwise. I only hope that you will accept my sincerity in the judgment I reached.
Many thanks for your help and input during this period of reflection. Please stay in touch if you see ways in which an obscure Midwestern governor might make a constructive contribution to the rebuilding of our economy and our Republic.

It is my understanding there are some deep and troubling problems within the Daniels’ family that would not bode well for public display, starting with his wife.
If he's reelected, its lights out for this Republic.

That house is probably the Palins new home....a tv reporter was out there and showed an Alaska license plate SUV drive in and out out of the property, neighbors said that they saw the Palins look at the home a few weeks ago
What Im saying is Cain IS in, (willbe on fox news sunday later) Newt is dead, Romneys treading water, Trumps out Hucks out, Daniels as of tonight is out. Cains In and we have left to hear from bachmann and palin..all 2nd tier according to the MSM. Ergo, WE will determine who will run. the MSM and the “establishment republicans”” won’t and at this point cant. Their guys are finished. We won regardless of who our finalists are (unless Im missing someone...then my bad..its late)...
Logistically it would be (far) simpler to campaign from the lower 48.
Perhaps even win California.
Phoenix which is 45 minutes away has direct flights to Alaska plus the other major cites in the East...She said in her book that she enjoyed the weather in AZ. It’s a perfect fit if I say so. Everything in the past few weeks point to her running, in her words, actions and hiring.
You folks who don’t think Sarah Palin is running have to really give your head a shake.

Did you folks listen to the interviews on Fox with Hannity, Bolling, Greta and Pirro? What in those interviews even gives you even a hint she is not running? Her family concerns. Nothing like Mitch and Cheri Daniels.
Why or organize4palin.com organizing on behalf of Palin in all 50 states? Because they have nothing better to do with their time.
Please don’t be so stupid to fall for the MSM meme that Palin wants to a cheerleader, kingmaker or just get filthy rich.
They know that Palin is running, especially over the past few weeks! They are just in the plausible denial phase.
Where is Michele Bachmann on your list? She’s made more noise about possibly running than Palin has.
Well he will be re-elected if Palin is our nominee. Her negatives are way too high. The conservative base alone can’t win the Presidency.
My prediction:
The 2012 ticket will be Palin / Cain, and the resulting landslide victory will eclipse Reagan’s.
I would include Bachmann too....
That’s not the MSM meme. That’s what conservatives like Andrew Breitbart, Ann Coulter and Mark Steyn have advised her to do. Why do Palin and her supporters blame the MSM for everything?
