Camping ... could not be reached immediately for comment on Saturday.
Hmmm. Maybe the Rapture did occur and he just got the earthquake part wrong. No where does that leave us?

A return to the stoning of false prophets would tend to reduce this kind of nonsense from even starting.

I heard he now works for the Federal Government doing major hurricane predictions and economic forecasting.
Unexpectedly.

I was hoping to get it right on the first try. This just means we’ll have to do it all over again on 12-21-2012......:)

Don’t these shmucks who predict the date of Apocalypse read the Bible? Jesus said no man knows the date or the hour of His return and the end. Ignorant morons—or out to make a buck somehow? Yikes.... see ya tomorrow y’all.

You know, I would not put it past this shmuck at all to suddenly disappear...and have others claim he was beamed up to heaven.
It would be the perfect end to a really good scam. He could then live out the rest of his life retiring in wealth and luxury, while stimulating his base to worship him and give more money. Not something I would ever do, but it is pretty cool.

According to Dut. 18:20-22, it only takes one false prophecy to be known as a false prophet!
So, Harold Camping, Benny Hinn, Jack Van Impe, Mormons, Jehovah's Witnesses and a host of others have prophesied falsely and God said that we have don't to listen to them!
