Saw him 2 weeks ago at Morton’s in Anaheim. He couldn’t get around too well, poor guy.
May God grant his tortured soul rest.
Poor guy.
I believe his name is ConAway. Just read this today, somewhere online.
That's the report anyway.
guess Celebrity rehab just wasn’t the cure. He was in denial the whole time there as well. Sad.
Prayers for his health.
Junkies usually don’t live very long lives.
He is 60? I feel old now.
“He is reported to have become addicted to pain killers after falling down a flight of stairs in January 2010 breaking a hip, arm and fracturing his neck”
I’m sorry, I can’t sit in judgement on a person using painkillers after going through this.
I live in FL. Lots of people taking the max of pain pills here, but so many are barely able to move. Pain pills have lots of bad points but what’s life when you can’t get out of a chair anyway?
He and his girlfriend were addicts for many a year. Celebrity Rehab made him enuff money to continue his addiction, IMHO
Sad. If he gets another chance, I hope he doesn’t blow it.
Thanks for posting. Good luck to Mr. Conway.
I for one, will pray that God will shed his grace on him.
this is really sad, but not surprising... saw a couple of episodes of Celebrity Rehab at a relative’s home a couple of years ago in which he was one of the celebrities going through rehab... and he semmed to be fighting it... i do remember him from Grease, of course... but he was also well-known for his role as Bobby Wheeler in Taxi...
Pain meds and recovering drunks always produce another cautionary tale. Someone should have sat on his chest after his accident.
Comfortably Numb lyrics
Songwriters: Gilmour, David Jon; Waters, Roger;
Hello?
Is there anybody in there?
Just nod if you can hear me
Is there anyone at home?
Come on, now
I hear you’re feeling down
Well I can ease your pain
Get you on your feet again
Relax
I’ll need some information first
Just the basic facts
Can you show me where it hurts?
There is no pain you are receding
A distant ship’s smoke on the horizon
You are the only coming through in waves
Your lips move but I can’t hear what you’re saying
When I was a child I had a fever
My hands felt just like two balloons
Now I’ve got that feeling once again
I can’t explain you would not understand
This is not how I am
I have become comfortably numb
Conaway’s manager Phil Brock said on Thursday the actor was in “critical but stable condition” at a Los Angeles area hospital and was “unconscious and unresponsive”.
The 60-year-old actor, who has a history of addiction to cocaine, alcohol and prescription painkillers, was found unconscious at his home last week by a friend and may have been there for about 10 hours before being discovered.
Conway has yet to come to although he did turn his head briefly last Sunday, Brock said.
Brock said the actor was suffering from pneumonia and was already sick at the time of the overdose.
