We might have 5 different home brews at the tasting this weekend and 2 samples of a one-of cask ales from Lazy Magonila (Mississippi) and one sample of a cask ale from Red Brick (Atlanta).

Had some Chimay Red Cap Belgian Trappist Ale for the first time at my brother’s house. Excellent! But he bought it in Maryland. I have some Lagunitas IPA at home right now.

Oh man, that Lagunitas IPA is simply delicious.
I crafted my “house IPA” recipe using it as a base.
Thanks, now I want a beer :)
Cheers,

Got about 12 bottles left after my last hard cider batch.
But I might give it a break, and drink a Grolsch or two, as always, I can use the bottles!
Brew store charges $12.50 for 6 look-alike Grolsch bottles.
I can buy them FULL for $2.20 a pop, plus I get the beer, it’s a no-brainer.
Got to get to the brew store though. I MUST make a stout!!

Oh I know what you mean about the brewstore. I just dropped 500 bucks there. I now have 350 lbs of grain, lots of yeast and have already put it to use. I have 30 gallons chugging away in my shop.
It smells... interesting in there.
A combo of motor oil, paint and fermenting beer.
It smells like a mans shop should smell I say!
Cheers,

Love that Moose Drool...but, at $2 a 12 oz. bottle here in Portland, Or., I save it for more special occasions(i.e.sunny days, clear nights, dry dirt, dead moss).
