Saw him play. Saw Mantle in the same game. No easy feat, since I’m Texan and there were no Texas Rangers back then. Happened to be in Minneapolis and saw the Twins vs. the Yanks. RIP.

Payette Idaho's favorite son. A bright star for the world from a tiny town.

Saw him play against my beloved Angels many times, and saw him hit some devastating home runs. He was also kind to young kids asking for his autograph. Great ballplayer, great man. Thanks for the memories, Killer—we miss you already!

My neighbor when he lived in Minnesota. A gentle man in every sense of the word. No pretense.

What a sad day in Minnesota. RIP Harm.

Not sure if anyone else would remember this, but, back in the late '60's, I had a board game of baseball - not sure of the name, where you'd insert the circles of the players on your team and spin. I loved Harmon Killebrew because although his strikeout slots were bigger, his \1/ at the top was one of the biggest - 1 was a HOME RUN. Very fun game.

Anyone else remember that game?
