If the under current budget expenses equaled revenue, we would still have previously accumulated debt. It is true that it would no longer be growing (or shrinking), but we would still have debt.
I think, perhaps, the question on the three branches of government should have specified federal government. Although I got that correct, I could see how a knowledgeable person could answer “federal, state, and local” even while knowing the correct answer.
My score was 96.97. I got the Lincoln/Douglas question wrong.

agreed, tariffs, corporate income taxes aren’t included in their simplistic answer.

I dont buy that Correct Answer. Am I missing something ?Say you pull in $500 a month, but you have $1000 in debt. Your expenses, including your $50 payment on your debt, total $500. Your income = your outgo, but you still have debt.

missed the unemployment. I chose 15% and I think that is closer to where we are (based on articles and radio) but the correct answer on this quiz is 9%.

Got 11 out of 11. Used deductive reasoning on the obesity question, though....

I got 11/11, but I will admit that I guessed on the CDC/Obesity one. I suppose it’s potluck as the CDC estimate probably has less to do with reality and more to do with a political agenda anyways.

I would be shocked if at least half of the FReepers who took this test did not score in the top 2 percent.
