The property behind my farm was rented by a farmer that put in field corn...after they cleared the field I would go in and glean the corn left on the ground or on the few standing stalkes....First time I threw the goats a bunch of field corn, they didn’t know how to eat it off the cob. But they learned fast, would chew off the kernels and leave a bare cob...It was funny the first few times watching them learn...
