Ron Paul did a 180 on immigration, and is now a totally open-borders guy. This comes after a career of being “pro-life” but consistently finding an excuse to vote with the party of death. I don’t trust him further than I could throw him.
Along with being an open borders guy he's also a pro-homo marriage guy, a legalize heroin guy, and a "killing bin Laden violated international law" guy.
Because of the above, he's an unelectable guy.

I don’t like him and don’t trust him, either. But if he is on the ticket against Obama, I’ll vote for him. He at least is likely to poke a sharp stick in the eye of the Fed. If Mitt is heading the ticket against Obama, on the other hand, I probably won’t see enough difference between the candidates to bother to go to the polls.
