Bristol Palin isn't the only one living fast these days. Sarah and Todd Palin's second oldest daughter, Willow Palin, 16, was ticketed in Alaska for driving nearly 20 miles per hour over the speed limit in the family's black Cadillac Escalade SUV. According to a TMZ review of documents filed in Alaska, Willow was said to be driving 84 miles per hour in a 65 mph zone.
According to the website, she was issued a 'minor offence' citation for $162 and let go 'without further incident'.

it sounds like she was alone in the vehicle...all kinds of carbon footprint issues there. Where the tires properly inflated? Clean oil filters?
Then there is the actual speeding...and the decision to “let her go without further incident.” Why wasn’t SWAT called in? Did NORAD have planes in the air. How did the Trooper vote in the last election?
What this does most is just bring out the PDSers...

I do that on I-5 in California all the time.
And have you ever traversed I-80 from Reno to Salt Lake? 90 at least (although there are lots more cops out there now)
If Willow was on the main highway from Anchorage to Fairbanks, I get it...hard to keep it under 80.
Forgot to mention... she rightly got a ticket, like thousands of other teenagers, nationwide, that same day.
Why is it news? Well we know why...future President’s daughter!

Bachman (whom I happen to like)...I like Michele Bachmann too, and if Sarah's kids were older, I'd be more prone to back her, but possibly Christ gifted her with a baby later in life, so that she'd slow up her pace a bit (she's at 84 m.p.h. round the clock!) and realize what's the most important job (in my opinion) of all, that of being a mother.

I see no mention of any traffic violations.
They resent our freedoms, and driving down the road in 5000 pounds of American steel insults their sensibilities.
That is why I love the Dodge Challenger commercial with George Washington driving a Challenger chasing the fleeing British Red Coats. (And yes, I know the Challenger is assembled in Canada, but it's still pretty cool).

So what can any parent see that is wrong about this?
Would that also be the fact that they turned a 16 year old loose, unsupervised to drive a full sized heavy and powerful SUV to do with what she pleases?
How on Earth could anyone find fault with that? </s

Unsupervised? At 16? Isn’t that the idea of obtaining one’s Driver’s License?
