Bristol Palin isn't the only one living fast these days. Sarah and Todd Palin's second oldest daughter, Willow Palin, 16, was ticketed in Alaska for driving nearly 20 miles per hour over the speed limit in the family's black Cadillac Escalade SUV. According to a TMZ review of documents filed in Alaska, Willow was said to be driving 84 miles per hour in a 65 mph zone.
According to the website, she was issued a 'minor offence' citation for $162 and let go 'without further incident'.

Would that also be the fact that they turned a 16 year old loose, unsupervised to drive a full sized heavy and powerful SUV to do with what she pleases?
Geez, my parents turned me loose in a freakin 400 horsepower, 2.5 ton land yacht. I think some people forget what it was like to be a 16 year old just getting a license. FReedom, baby! Shit happens, you get a ticket and most likely you don't do that again.
Yeah, kids got killed when I was a teenager... but at least we still had common sense not to ban ALL for the mistakes of one. Wait till 21 to get a license? PLEASE!

The kids behave like selfish individuals who seem not to be bothered that their behavior reflects poorly on their mother.

Nice try to you too. It is no ones business but Sarah and her husband’s if she has a career or stays home with the kids. There are a lot of people that look for any reason at all to bash her regardless of what she does.

It wasn't national news when I got dinged for 84 in a 70 or 72 in a 55. I was written for 5 over and it cost me a little over $100 a pop plus insurance.

Last Friday, I was involved in a car accident in which I was determined to be at fault. If any of you who are getting the vapors and/or smug condescension at a 16 y.o. getting a speeding ticket want to meet me at the gallows here in downtown Fort Smith, you can string me up. Maybe that’s the PDS cure you need.

I'm not even a Palin supporter, but I'm not faulting the Palins as parent, nor is there any indication of Willow being a "bad" kid. She was speeding, no different than 85% of the population.
