Hess’ solo-flight to Britain was one of the more interesting little episodes of the 20th century. Lots of gaps. You can paint it any which way.

There is a very good novel written by Basil Heatter called The Einstein Plot that begins with Hess' little trip to Scotland. Fascinating book and well worth the effort to find.
