Netflix has recent,y added 'Speechless. to it's 'Watch Instantly' library. True, it's just another romance movie, but unlike 'Dave' and 'American President' that use a love story as a backdrop to push their liberal propaganda pablum, 'Speechless' actually uses politics as a background to a love story, and doesn't push one side or slime the other other.
Schmaltz, ho doubt. But I liked it.

I am watching a real obscure flick from 1978 right now on Netflix. Zero To Sixty with Darrin McGavin. It is ridiculous stupid but funny.
I’ve never really thought of Darrin McGavin as being a shirt off kind of actor. How was the movie? Loved him in Night Stalkers though.

It was a strange film but I gave it 5 stars a Netflix. It was McGavin playing the same role he always plays like in Stalker and Christmas Story. A middle aged, behind the times sort of guy but in this movie he played that against a cast of cheesy 70's goofball stuff. If you are bored and have an hour and a holf to kill, you should check it out. Had Joan Collins and Dick Martin in it too. Real forgotten stuff. You have to love Netflix for having weird stuff like that.
Thanks for the review!
