Why does BHO's official biography state: "His mother, Ann Dunham, was born and raised in small-town Kansas. After her family moved to the Hawaiian Islands, she met Barack Obama Sr., a Kenyan scholarship student enrolled at the University of Hawaii. The two married in 1959, and on August 4, 1961 ...."
Wikipedia says that Stanley Ann graduated from highschool in Washington state in 1960, and moved to Hawaii and started college that fall, where she met BHO senior. "Dunham and Obama Sr. were married on the Hawaiian island of Maui on February 2, 1961, despite parental opposition from both families. Dunham was three months pregnant at the time of her marriage."
The INS file makes it perfectly clear that he was believed to have multiple wives. It does not make it clear that he legally did. Morally he certainly did.
So STOP spouting the false statements!
He was a sleazeball.
I haven’t made a false statement. Bigamy is a crime in the USA, Britain and Kenya. To prove bigamy you must prove beyond reasonable doubt that an individual is legally married to two, or more people, at the same time. The INS file shows that they couldn’t prove that. They believed he was, or might be, but they couldn’t prove it.
Where does it show that they could?
Why are you so keen to prove Stanley Ann Dunham and Barack Obama, Sr, weren’t married?
BTW, I’m not convinced that they were, legally. I just don’t buy the bigamy argument.
Try the first word of the second paragraph. The poster's "linking," not mine. The only point is that if you are going to call the President (respect the office, not the _resident) a liar, base it upon an authoritative source. Then let the fur fly where it may.
As if this admin can tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.
I knew about Kansas, Washington, and Hawaii. And California checks out.
So does Texas (and Oklahoma). It was that immediate postwar period when people were moving around a lot.
It's hard to say just where she was raised, though she did go to high school in Washington State. But where are you getting New York State from?
And if the March 5, '64 date was true, the marriage wasn't legal. The divorce from Sr. was heard on that date but the decree clearly states it is not final until it is signed by the Judge (he signed on the 20th) and it is filed. Just another ooops in the usurper's history.
You’ve never seen the May 1943 USO photo op with the British soldiers? They were living 1829 South Salina Street in Syracuse.
Syracuse and Rochester, New York, newspapers 1943. Try “The Post Standard”, I think. Stanley Armour Dunham was stationed at the USAAF airbase there. There was an article. I was looking for a relative in the Canadian airforce on a genealogy site. The name sprang out at me. Plenty of people must have seen it.
Yeah, I noticed that. Her divorce papers from Lolo Soetoro are iffy too.
Problem is that was a boys only school.
There was a HI marriage index that listed Sr. and Ann. Don’t know if it was deemed true or false.
Welcome to the eligibility threads.
I thank you.
Incidentally, I’d have felt chummy’s collar with the greatest of pleasure if I’d been around in 1961. But then I’d have been in deep shit with the DPP and the FO.
