1. Because of the even geographic distribution of stores like Publix and Walgreens. If you go down to Dade County, you will find a few Publix stores along Biscayne Blvd and then a huge gap to the West until Hialeah and even in Hialeah not that many Publix stores. In urban areas up North (and Atlanta) it is tougher to reach stores with coupon deals.

2. Not the Jerk Machine. The best jerk cooking is in the industrial parks. On Saturday you can catch Carlton by going one block east on 19th Street from State Rd 7 and then making the first right on 38th street. In about half a block you will see smoke on the right. That is Carlton. BEST jerk pork/chicken in South Florida. And the prices are reasonable.

p.s. I have all store locations in Broward (and some in Palm Beach and Dade) hardwired into my brain.
