BTW, 19th street between Oakland Park and Sunrise. Saturdays. On Fridays, Carlton is at a slightly different location a couple of blocks away and that is where I will be heading in a few minutes.
The thing about good jerk is not just the level of the spiciness but the texture of the meat as well, especially the pork. It has a certain crunchiness mixed with softness that is hard to describe. Must be eaten to appreciate that texture.
