11pm news showed cars being rocked by in the street.. they arrested a number of these idiots.. like that helps the local business owners much after the fact.
That place had more tattoos on the folks gathered there than an INK Convention.

...after being stabbed in the festivities... If you've ever been stabbed in the festivities, you know how painful that was.

Surprised they haven’t blamed it on Hockey fans celebrating the Red Wings’ imminent defeat.....

These taco-chomping imbeciles haven’t a clue as to what is significant about Cinco de Mayo.

The crowds had also knocked out windows of businesses ... Urban, "We won't tolerate any nonsense," she added.
Amazing how INEFFECTIVE the police have become.

Really odd:
I didn't even realize it was Puebla's anniversary.
First time since I've lived here, 20 years and some, that I didn't see a single mexican flag...not even the extended family across the street.
(Or maybe they were all over the place and I've just tuned it entirely out...still odd, scary but odd.)

apparently The police were asked to rein it in by downtown businesses and lighten up activities after their sales dropped.. the police were also passively patroling&monitoring and such of the restless yout’s, the rowdies moved back to east san jose.. it’s like they never left.. more tattoos than a miley cyrus concert.. I haven’t seen arrest totes yet,, too bad the places got whacked after all the work to fix the place up..

A truly great time to commit a crime in SJ is during Cinco de Mayo festival celebrations. All the cops are diverted to the scenes of fights, typically at the intersection of King and Story. This is where low riders hang out. They are busy speeding up and down the streets, blaring music out of amped radios, flying Mexican flags out of their windows, getting drunk, and beating each other up, or beating up innocent bystanders. If you are a criminal committing a crime you are in luck, because the police typically won’t show up for 30 minutes or more outside of the “celebration” areas...
