A janitor is a “doorkeeper”, and true to this linguistic root, I remember that the school janitor always had an impressive ring of keys. I also remember that he took his own authority very seriously, and enforced it enthusiastically, so that he was a sort of Lord of the Underworld ... that is the hallways.
Having noticed this, I saw its generalization in the power wielded by low level functionaries in all capacities, which I came to think of as the “Janitor Syndrome”.
But I agree this has nothing to do with Obama, who is just the other thing ... the ineffectual Principal Poop.
btw...the usurper most likely was compelled by someone to go along with the raid. Our guys may end up getting thrown under the bus on this. imo
You are exactly right about janitors. Further, it is these "low-level" functionaries who make a business run smoothly. A wise person told me to build relationships with them and I will find that projects of mine will experience fewer delays and slow-downs. Perhaps that wouldn't be intentional but the functionaries would personally look out for my things whereas someone who didn't have a relationship was "just a job." Having said that, Caligula could not be bothered with the responsibilities of a janitor. It is "beneath" him.
Another off topic observation, I have a lot of keys. When that is commented upon, I reply, "I'm either important [here] or I'm a janitor. You'll have to decide that." LOL!
