Choices are:
Go for it - Superman belongs to the world!
Depends - is Clark remaining a US citizen?
Could be interesting if handled smartly.
No. It's a bad, unfortunately timed idea.
Right now, the anti-America option is winning. Let's tell Superman's editors it's a bad idea!
My reply is to go to no more DC movies or to buy any comic books for the kiddies.
Let Moscow feed DC magazine for all I care.
What are the taxes on superheroes and their exposure to BATF harassment? It might be the smart move.
Deport him.
Comic books should renounce their importance in American culture.
Kryptonite sandwich.
A “Red” cape. A big S on his chest for Socialism. I always suspected he was a Commie.
He is a comic book drawing. He can’t renounce anything.
Illegal alien in the truest sense...
I, for one, wlecome our new Global Overlord.
FREEP THIS POLL ***PING!*** FRmail me if you want to be added or removed from the Fearless Poll-Freeping Freepers Ping list. And be sure to ping me to any polls that need Freepin', if I miss them. (looks like a medium volume list) (gordongekko909, founder of the pinglist, stays on the list until his ghost signs up for the list)
This reminds me; one of the editors at Marvel said that they keep getting angry letters from people complaining about Superman. Apparently there are many who don’t realize who the various characters belong to.
On one of the the DC Universe's 52 alternate Earths, he is:
Well,he’s at least still in the closet!
Excellent choice. I hadn't thought about their movies, just that I don't buy any comics, but I like it and will follow your lead. Superman, Batman, and the other DC comic movies are on my permanent boycott list, along with Chrysler and GM. Anti-American propaganda must have a price.
We can take up a collection for the plane tickets ;-)
If they want to have a global audience then it is brilliant. From a capitalistic approach this is a way to gain a world wide audience. I suppose for those comic book fans it might be a shame for them. I just don’t know if it really matters in the big scheme of life.
If & when this happens, it will break my son’s heart. He has Down Syndrome & superman was his first super hero. When it happens I am going to rid our home of everything of this.
What a shame too.
He never was a citizen. Obviously, he is an undocumented illegal alien.
