I'm so glad my mom home schooled me.
This doesn’t surprise me at all. Schools are so politically correct (not wanting to offend any Muslims etc) that current history is ignored. Personally, I have always felt that every 9/11, the pictures of the Pentagon/World Trade Towers/PA etc... should be shown during the entire day.
Of course it concerns me that kids today are dumb, but what really concerns me is how does Yahoo know who and how old the searchers are? I don’t remember giving my age to Yahoo when I search.
If you sign up for a yahoo e-mail, you get a yahoo account. You can sign into that account and chat and get involved with the message boards, etc in the yahoo community. If you are signed in when you use the search engine, they can track data like this.
(FACEPALM).....
My grandson, who was born in October 2001, also knows who bin Laden is. He has an inquiring mind, and probably knows more about WWII than his history teacher.
Their parents probably don’t know much more.
here we go with the most abused comment on FR..
“Pray for our nation”.
I know who Osama bin Laden is but there isn’t amything named OBL!
That astroturfed mob praising Obama for killing Osama was even more astroturfed than I thought.
He probably has a very instructive grandparent too. :)
