I quit buying the pig ears a few years ago, because my Siberian Husky (Alyeska) got sick after eating them. I now buy the dried chicken strips for both him and my little Maltese (Clio). I buy the large bags of them at Sam’s Club.....pretty reasonably priced. They love them and have had no problems.

I have never bought any pigs ears for my pups. I don't buy those plastic chew bones any more because they can chew them down small enough to swallow and then we would have a mess. My dogs get shed deer horns, they love them and they last a long time.

My pup gets a big ole rawhide bone and has a rope to chew on. For a snack, he gets carrots and we buy dog treats at the market by the pound.
