Is it OK to ask for simple "GRAPHIC WARNING" to be said before posting any photos of any gruesome dead bodies? I don't have a problem with them being posted, just would like a warning to be seen BEFORE the photo.
If you want to stick a photo of bin Laden or Uday and Qusay, or whomever, especially the bloody ones, can you give the GRAPHIC WARNING and then do this /

enough times to give someone a chance to not see it, or speed past it?
We sensitive people want you to see it and we want to maybe see it but we want to be ready to handle it. Some of us are very sensitive to these things.
Thanks if you agree.
I think that’s a fair request. Why is it so difficult to be kind to other people? In this case it really costs virtually nothing.
It may be fair, but it simply isn't going to happen. Folks are going to post the photos to threads that have no warning and, most on point, there are thousands of people who will not read about the request and they are going to bring in the photo with no warning.
If someone is posting a thread specifically about the photos, they could post a warning in the title, but I would not expect it.
I think it was Lieberman yesterday that said he had seen the photos and Osama had an entry wound in the head and there was some apparent swelling, but that the photo was not really that bad. I'm sure that there is much worse on television every single night.
You know, I don’t think a single one of those articles had anything to do with Star Wars.
I don’t mean to be unkind but I don’t think you are going to be able to flash past this bad boy without seeing it. You probably ought to stay off these threads for a few days. Then again if we have the collapse that is surely coming you will likely witness a lot worse things than OBL with half his face missing.
have your husband check the thread first to be sure it’s safe.
Well heck...just watch Nancy Pelosi..or Harry Reid.
What's a harry reid...BTW?
In Bangkok, the papers deliberately choose the most graphic, gruesome pics of accidents, murder scenes, and other carnage for the top front page of their news. In 5 x 7 photos, color.
Not saying it’s the right thing to do, but sensitivity to gore is not a universal norm.
Oh good grief! If I was so sensitive that the sight of a dead body upset me, I wouldn’t be out advertising it. I’d be trying to toughen myself up.
Uhhh... NO....
People need a real good dose of something called REALITY, now and then.
If Americans had been ALLOWED by their mainstream media masters to see the dead, and to hear the screams of the jumpers on 9/11, the anti-war movement and all the years of insane hate and lies that followed would have never happened, because people would have seen THE TRUTH, with their own eyes....
But that COULD NOT be allowed, because it might hurt the Democrat cause, defeating the “EVIL SHRUB”, after the unaccepted loss of Al Goron in 2000, so fresh in their minds.
I’d also like to request such a policy on ALL future postings of Helen Thomas pictures.
Please go back and reread her request...
After all my years of being here and all my donations, this response to me is unbelievable. I only asked. Some of us are female and sensitive. I'm even moreso than usual, being with child. I clearly stated that I wanted YOU ALL to see the photos; I asked for a warning because on threads these photos were popping up without any.
I'm sad that so many of you are not even attempting to be gentlemen to real women.
Sure looks like that Burger King Guy.....
