I enjoy listening to Rush at times, but I’m convinced he’s still a 100% company man. And where Rush (and other conservative thought shapers) leads, many will follow.

What does al-Jazeera say? Seems that is the source of record these days, just ask Hillary Klinton.

What does it say for Bush? Why is he helping BHO. It is a real shame when we have to ask ourselves who to believe.

Both the Taliban and the White House say he is dead.

We know both are liars...that does lead to an interesting possibility....

This could be like dead Elvis sightings.

The body should have been kept at least for a time as evidence. The idea that pictures should not be shown is ridiculous. There were no problems with pictures of Sadam’s sons being shown dead or videos of Sadam’s death. Why should current and/or potential terrorist believe that Bin Ladin is truly dead? On the word of someone saying they checked the DNA? I think not. At anytime they can “resurrect” him and say that he was never dead by merely putting out a concocted video of him for propaganda purposes as they may have done before. Pardon the pun but something seems very fishy about this buried instantly at sea thing.

A photo won’t change anyone’s mind. Those who don’t believe the story now will dismiss the photo as a fake.

I’m wondering how they got the DNA tested within only a couple of hours? Wouldn’t they have had to flown it back here? Or had they already collected the sample?

The plain truth is that Obama and those close to him in his Administration have ZERO trustworthiness, and inspire untrustworthy behavior down the ranks.

I’m still stuck on why Clinton didn’t kill Bin Laden in 2000 when he was in our crosshairs.

The laws haven’t changed.

So either Clinton lied or Obama is a war criminal. Or.. this is in fact wag the dog. Shame we have a leftwing media who is in the bag for our savior.

The story as put out by the regime stinks. Anyone who believes is ignoring the facts. Supposedly two helos left Bagram and flew deep in Pakistan. Pavehawks hold 12 troops max. We are being told that there were 22 SEALS. One helo crashed and there is no mention of a second or even a third helo coming to the site of the raid. Then we are supposed to believe that they flew to the Indian Ocean to the carrier with a full oad? Please. Then they would of had to been refueled either in the air or on the ground for a flight the entire length of either Pakistan or Afcrapistan. Pavehawks have a top speed of 159 mph. So lets suppose they go back to Bagram and then take a COD to the carrier Still a three or four hour trip. AND we are suppose to believe that a DNA test was run in light speed? I do not buy it.

And they got a DNA sample that quick?

It only takes a snip of tissue and a few hours in a properly equipped lab to run the DNA samples. So, sure, they could have gotten the DNA results that fast.

Also, there is a photo of the dead body. I saw it first on someone's cell phone yesterday morning, but you can Google it "Osama bin Laden dead" and look at images. The correct photo shows the head and shoulders, with some white material in the upper right quadrant of the photo. It's rather gruesome.

Reference DNA. Both Bin Laden’s mother and father are dead. He was the only son of a Syrian mother and Bin Laden’s father. He had 50 or more half-brothers and sisters. Thus, how closely would his DNA match those family members? He did have at least four sons, one of whom surfaced in Iran some time ago. Do we have DNA of one of them? Just noodling.

There were FOUR choppers involved.

Sources:

http://www.cleveland.com/world/index.ssf/2011/05/inside_the_raid_that_killed_os.html

http://www.topsecretwriters.com/2011/05/the-compound-assault-and-how-bin-laden-died/

http://unionrecorder.com/local/x833655703/AP-Source-Bin-Laden-went-down-firing

The reports indicate that the troops were carried by two Chinooks and entered the compound by rappelled down from the Chinooks.

The Chopper that crashed was a Blackhawk.

A single Chinook can carry 30 troops plus their equipment. There were 40 troops involved in the assault, 24 of which went after Bin Laden and the remaining probably were to secure the perimeter and prepare a landing space for the Chinooks to pick up the troops.

The loss of a Blackhawk could be easily made up for but the loss of a Chinook would have severely impacted the recovery of the troops. I wonder if one of the Chinooks was empty or mostly empty to allow for the capture of prisoners or failure of the other Chinook. Perhaps both Chinooks went in at half capacity of 15 each instead of their full capacity of 30 just in case one was downed with loss of crew and cargo.
