"We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!" President Bush
The big news of the day is the death and burial at sea of Osama bin Laden. Thank you, President Bush and the US military (including my son and future son-in-law) who made this day happen. Other news is the nuptials of William and Catherine in Great Britain. May God bless their union and draw them close to Him in Jesus Christ. Alabama (my state) and other southeast states continue the task of digging out and rebuilding. A massive effort is underway with able bodies and supplies needed.

I don’t like Obama
Good morning all.....
Lots of rain here in April and the start of May. My postage stamp garden is started, chives came through the winter quite well. I have added some sweet basil and dill.
I have a few tomato plants also. Flowers are lovely and grass growing too fast.
I spend lot of my days at the local hospital since my BIG C fight. If cancer doesn’t kill you, the treatment might!
Toby and I are close to the same age....so hope and pray he is OK.
Good Morning, Bee!! Nice to see you again!
Good Morning everyone! It’s brisk out there this morning. I didn’t bring a coat back to DM with me, so I’ll be moving quickly from the car to the building.
Good morning, Iowa Granny.
I don’t know how it is in Iowa, but we have too much rain here for the farmers...they are so behind in planting.
I am in the Hoosier state.
Good morning! Thank you for the encouragement.
I had not heard how your city was affected but it doesn't surprise me that anything by the river was hit. That river seems to be a tornado highway; perhaps the water feeds the storms instead of causing the storms to expend energy.
Thank you so much for the prayers. We are very close to being cleared to return.
I’m not sure how to do that either. I guess that we should be our own sparkling selves, full of wit and repartee and very friendly and engaging to all who drop by.
Ping to the list! Today is a beautiful day in the south. The leaves are green, the sky is blue and my daughter’s border collie appears to have frightened away the chipmunks and rabbits.
My roses are the best they’ve been in several years. I’m still fighting black spot fungus, though. My magnolias are in bloom and they smell heavenly.
I think Toby will be around soon. Like most of us, he stopped dropping by so often. But every now and again, he would post something on the last February thread so I suspect that he’ll be around soon.
Special ping to you! What is your granddaughter planning for this summer? Any mission trips?
I don’t either.
Good morning!
Yes, they are going to blow the level to save Cairo IL and will put something like 130,000 acres of farmland awash. Terrible for those farmers, losing crops, topsoil....their ground may never be what it was.
Good morning everybody.
Tis a beautiful day on the Space Coast....and actually all over the world !!...because of yesterday's news!!.
..YAY SEALS, OUR MILITARY AND OUR INTELLIGENCE COMMUNITY!....YOU ALL ROCK!
Thanks for the reply.....I hope Toby is fine and busy gathering lots of eggs for his neighbors. ;o)
GO NAVY!!!
God bless the Navy seals and the USA.
Hey! Hubby and I are heading down to Orlando this Saturday. We have a conference at WBT headquarters starting on Monday. Do you recommend any churches in the area for Sunday? Do y’all have any time free either that Sunday or the following Friday or Saturday? Maybe we can meet somewhere for dinner?
Jack will be getting more loads of natural rock for the rest of the hill and around the pond. Barb will buy him a set of optics for his airsoft rifle.
Barb is set up now in the basement for her pet treat and toy business and has shed the boat anchor of a woman that was helping her out of Tennessee. She nearly lost the business, but it has turned around now and she is nearly set up in the basement where my irstwhile shop was going to be located.
We are tying the knot a week from this Friday.
Please, please, please post pictures of all your work. Congratulations to Barb for that turn-around in business. It is harder to recover a business than to start one. She has done a mighty work!
