One of the most hated men in history has been killed by our troops by a Commander-in-Chief who has done everything in his power to demean, de-fund, impose demeaning homosexuality and restrict the ability of our troops to fight terror, including pursuing civilian trials for captured would-be terrorists.
Let's be fair here, the average American hasn't a clue what century the French & Indian War was fought in and probably cannot tell you who who Joe Biden is, so the mainstream media will run with this for all its worth. The Media will give 100% credit to Obama and mark my words, the RINOs will kow-tow even more and the Dems will be emboldened.
The moronic college kids and their Commie professors will forget all their anti-American, pro-terror rhetoric just enough for Novermber 2012 to come around. The media is fully invested in Obama and cheered and lied for him even when to most Americans he was failing. This single act is their inverted Pearl Harbor, they will fly the "Obama killed Osama when Bush Couldn't" forever.
This moniker will follow Obama forever, like how Watergate will always be tagged to Richard Nixon and how Bush I will be credited with toppling the Iraqis in 1991.
This will be forever spun by journalists and a crowning moment, a reason that Obama is tough and another way to let him have his way with the economy, jobs, climate change, unions, Libya, nuclear power, Obama Care, homosexual marriage, gun confiscation, tax hikes, gas prices, educational failure, amnesty...the butter will be softened forever for Obama, he will not need a steak knife, merely a butter knife to get things done. Look for the EPA, FDA, FCC and every other attack dog regulatory agency to become hyper-aggressive in the coming months and years.

Wrong. The media will try to keep Obama’s glory alive for as long as they can.. but the American public, weary of wall to wall coverage just like with the BP oil spill, will start to tune out after three weeks. Within a month Obama’s temporary poll bump will disappear and OBL will go back to being what he was until this news broke - a forgotten character. The good thing is it happened 18 months before Nov 2012 instead of a month.
Look what happened to Bush I - he had a 90% approval rating after the first Gulf War and he lost the election based on "It's the Economy Stupid" ...
No doubt, this is a feather in Obama's cap [as it is for Bush II]. It was the military strategy and intel that finally got him. It was only a matter of time - over a period of 10 years ...
But, as said in the movie Patton:

It won’t be long before they start Terrorist attacks in retaliation. Maybe a dirty nuke or some form of Iranian weapon on an American target. It may even happen here in a major city. They have come close several times. Only a matter of time before they succeed.

The sheeple will forget about how much the economy sucks for a little while, but the election is in 18 months. When people are paying 5 bucks a gallon on their summer vacations soon, OBL taking a dirtnap won’t matter quite so much to them.
In any event, the media and lefties can give BO all the praise they want; we know where the credit is truly due. We should celebrate our military’s achievement tonight.

If nothing else, this is a reminder for when the pull the lever in 18 months.
I know it’s the economy, but I am rational, the Government will borrow until we have $1,000 lollipops due to inflation, to keep those same morons watching American Idol while munching a BK Whopper.
The American youth and young adult is moronic and simplistic, the best ones are serving in the military now.
The Media will spin this forever as they omit stories and emphasize others...this will be the forefront of the 2012 election, even if its material or not.
The Bush I example is wortheless as the Media never liked him...even though he was a RINO.

In 1989, GHW Bush oversaw the end of the Iron Curtain. In 1990 and 1991, we kicked Iraq out of Kuwait and saw the Soviet Union fall. Even so, a recession much less severe than this one swept Clinton into office.
The GOP can still win in 2012. We just need to remind people that Obama doesn't deserve credit and isn't worthy to lead this country.

It would have happened whether Bin Laden was killed or not. As your second sentence states. This is a victory for America. Bin Laden got what was coming to him.
What I don't understand is why Obama kills Al Qaeda in one part of the world and helps them and their type gain power in Egypt and Libya. Does not make sense.
No way will he be re-elected. The Nation’s broke, real unemployment is at 20%, real inflation is 10%..........and all Barry knows how to do is print, tax and spend.
UBL was no friend of Iran....they may have also played a role in this.
