Reminds me of what a friend said yesterday immediately after the kiss. She sent me an e-mail saying “Well, it’s all over now, except for the affairs and the divorce.”

Made me chuckle. I didn’t watch the wedding, but I do think Kate is very pretty and I would hope she and William would be able to maintain a faithful and loyal relationship, just as I hope for any newlywed couple.

The author’s focus on race in this article is ridiculous. I can’t imagine race having anything to do with the wedding, but some people just love to find fault.

I hope Prince William does not forget the misery his father caused his mother with his carrying on with Camilla..For all her faults, Diana did not start her own affairs until after Fred and Gladys were outed so to speak. That does not make what she did right. That said, William I hope remembers all this and will be true to his new bride and her to him.
Camilla and Charles should have married when they were in their 20s but she had “ a past” so she didn’t qualify, according to the rules of the day. That is the sad part of this Greek tragedy. It should have been Diana in the room during the signing of the register but it wasn’t..and I don’t think that was lost on Prince William..
Let’s not speak badly of this new couple unless and until they do something to deserve a scolding.
