According to how I heard Camping describe it, anybody left on earth after May 21 is doomed with no hope of salvation and the Earth will be in the process of being destroyed. He predicts that around sunset on May 21, starting first in the East (Japan etc) and ending in the west (Alaska etc) there will be an Earthquake that is absurdly strong killing and destroying just about everything that will cover every square inch of the Earth (as each part of the globe gets to sunset). Moreover he insists everyone who was saved will be raptured on that day (I think he means that it also goes around the Earth at sunset that way--saved people being caught up to Heaven right before the earthquake)
So there would indeed be no point in having the radio station after May 21
Also, we should know hear about an massive Earthquake like nothing anyone has ever hear of before starting in the Eastern part of the world on the afternoon of May 20...if he is right.
Caught the end of Camping on the Michael Smerconish show tonight (WTKK Boston) and he mentioned how he’s right,
this will happen, the Bible guarantees it etc. Someone called in later and said Coast to Coast (overnight talk show) had Camping on and asked him if he’d like to come back on 5/22
“if your prediction turns out to be wrong”. Camping refused to take them up on it. Anyway the earthquakes would be at 6 pm local time in each time zone. (Another talk show I heard,
Dan Rea at WBZ in Boston, had a Camping follower on and
the host joked that the earthquakes would be on just in
time for the 6:00 news...)
Smerconish was wondering if people would be giving away their earthly possessions just before this. Would Camping give away his radio stations? He’s not bothering—and when asked where he would be on May 22, Camping replied,
“in heaven”.
