Rush Limbaugh: Why I Love Michele Bachmann

Rush Limbaugh describes Rep. Michele Bachmann as “a strong spokeswoman for unapologetic conservatism” and says the left is making a big mistake by writing her off as a “flame-throwing lightweight.”

The talk show host waxes wildly enthusiastic about the Minnesota Republican in a profile for “Time 100,” Time magazine’s annual list of 100 most influential people.

Limbaugh writes that he is “a great admirer” of Bachmann, a potential 2012 presidential candidate.

“Far from being the fringe outlier depicted by the mainstream media — and all too often by some on the right — she is a strong spokeswoman for unapologetic conservatism. She is neither extreme nor unreasonable, which is why her philosophy has resonated with grass-roots conservatives,” he said.

One reason he’s a fan: the way the founder and head of the House Tea Party Caucus responds to a barrage of often-barbed criticism.

“She is energized, rather than deterred, by the caustic criticism she constantly endures,” he said.

I LOVE her, but why is she so low in the polls? Hot then cold on eligibility?

The issue will never be taken to the end. Obama is President, the issues ripping this country apart will trump (No pun intended) the effort to make it a valid issue.

Yep. I figured that one out early on. Proving Obama 100% ineligible today will only mean months before the issue is brought up in congress leading to a long fight and a backroom deal. His voters don't care, the media doesn't care, amd his party doesn't care. As we fight that uphill battle to a stalemate our enemies continue to destroy the nation around us. In fact, removing him today won't stop the ungoing destruction of the nation.

We need to fight the whole war, not just try to take the enemy flag.

They’ve taken the wrong tack on this birth certificate issue. They should keep it going but solely concentrate on the “natural born citizen” issue in the constitution. That needs to be resolved and I think keeping the dialog going solely on that issue will continue the put the heat on Obama’s birth certificate problems.

Excellent post! It's a sad reality we face. The issue should have need settled 2 years ago. It's too late now and a waste of time to keep it going.

Besides, there are lots of other issues to beat Obama on. We should be concentrating on those. The best we can hope for is that the BC debacle will paint Obama as being a liar and a fraud who cannot be trusted.

We can learn a lesson from this and make enough noise before an ineligible camndidate is nominated to scare the democrats away from doing it again.

Pete Hoekstra is a good example. Its widely known that he was born in Holland and he will never get the GOP nomination in a presidential race as a result.

Obama had already won the nomination when the questions started to swirl about his eligibility and at that point it was already too late.

Why does she sweep the birther issue under the carpet?

She doesn't need it, the Trumpster and others are fighting that battle.....
