If my math is right, -10 Celsius works out to about 14 degrees Fahrenheit. That’s certainly cold enough to freeze to death. But, the ‘couple’ was also in a car which itself was inside a garage, so there was no direct exposure to the elements. And from the story, it sounds as if they still had the heater running when the woman conked out around midnight. Hussain was apparently dead and “ice-cold” when she woke at three.
I’m guessing the guy must’ve have zonked out while still in the buff (or nearly so). Because I would think that, had he been fully clothed for the season, he would have been able to survive in that situation for at least a *few* hours.
