I am a cat rescuer. I just lost a sweet tortise shell kitty last month. We could not determine her illness, but she had neurological signs. She was an indoor kitty. I now have another sick kitty with confirmed “wet” form of FIP, which is thought to be the result of mutated corona virus. It can cause neurological symptoms, among weight loss, wasting. There is no definitive test for this illness except post-mortem. And no cure...
Your Wilby is a handsome guy. Consider possible toxins in environment or food. I will pray for Wilby.

Aw, he looks like my Blue kitty, also a rescue...this pic is from the day after I got him, while he was in quarantine till I got him parasite free.
Hope your boy gets better. Poor baby. Is he an old kitty, other health problems?

Just said a prayer for your little furry one. I lost my beloved on 12/16/10 and I know the heartbreak one goes through when they are sick.
I pray the Lord intervenes supernaturally and heals him.
