Hmmmmm, well, yes and not so sure. I’m not afraid to try things on my computer. I just would like to know the ins and outs before I try it. What is DNS, ect. Sorry ;)I just like to know what I’m getting into before I get into it.

Sure. Good idea. DNS means Domain Name Server. It turns the computer id number into the name that you see. Google might be a number like 123.234.234 on the internet. The DNS turns the number into the human name Google and vice versa. Sometimes the entries can get corrupted in your computer.

Here’s what we’ll do:

1) From the Start menu choose Run...
2) Type cmd
3) Click “Run As Administrator” if possible
4) Type ipconfig /flushdns
5) Press Enter

Done.

You should get a positive response from the computer.

All your problems should be solved.

Just kidding. Maybe you should be able to get onto google. If not you may have to wait for hughesnet to get back to you because I have run out of ideas. Or the FReeper gurus arrive and get you out of this. We’ll see.

OK?
