This may have been wrong, but since nobody got hurt it might not be a bad thing. Liberals are inherently passive aggressive. Like a spoiled child they will push until you push back. So they got push back harder than was absolutely necessary. But we must push back. The Muslims have learned that if the push back and push back hard the libs won't mess with them no matter what they do. While I don't advocate violence I do advocate “Creative” protests. Make their lives miserable and they will stop messing with us. Once being a rebel stops being fun only the most committed will remain. And people with that level of commitment are few in number.

Just as having the right to “free speech” does not guarantee a forum in which to speak it, the freedom of expression as an artist does not (or should not) guarantee you the audience, nor the means to create your art. This is precisely why government should not fund would-be “artists” for this kind of work.

Liberals are very much like unruly teenagers.
They are not mature enough to consider the consequences of their actions, and usually have those consequences alleviated by others.

And, the way to deal with unruly teenagers is to rebuke them harshly (1 Thess 5:14) but patiently. As one father put it, when they keep escalating their unruliness, you come down disproportionately on them to make sure they remember to stay in line.

This is done to “stick it in your face, Christians” and then gloat about how “brave” and avant-garde the “artist” is for having created this trash, called it “art” and publicly displayed it. Imagine the reaction if Serrano had done this to an object of veneration in the Islamic world; the museum would have been dismantled, brick by brick. Thus, I don’t think we’ll see real “bravery” on his part; devout Muslims don’t particularly like a poke in the eye with a sharp stick.
