I went to breakfast this morning at Eat 'N Park in PIttsburgh. When I pulled into the parking lot, the spaces next to the handicapped spots were open so I thought, "Sweet! I"m gonna get a rock star parking spot" but as I pulled in, I noticed a sign posted in this spot that said "Reserved for Those Driving Hybrid Vehicles". I was PISSED! Has anyone else noticed this? Is it a new trend? Am I that out of the loop?

Eat “N Park is a Pittsburgh-based chain of diners. It originated I think in the 1950s. Funny you should ask because when I was a kid, I remember telling my dad that it should be Park ‘N Eat.
All I wanted this morning was some good old fashioned greasy eggs & pancakes. Too damn bad those libtards had to ruin it for me.
I don’t understand why a hybrid car would need a spot close to the handicapped ones. Unless it is close to an electrical outlet for them to plug in their cars to recharge. Not sure if a sign like that is legal or just done as a “courtesy”...kind of like the parking signs for women that are pregnant or with young children.
I'd tell them it does have an EGR "delete" kit in it! (which it does...lol.)
I would have gone inside and asked for the manager. Then I would have told him why I was not going to have a meal at his place of business. And left.

I look fine outside but my spine and neck are wrecked.
Without warning, at any time, a nerve could “pinch” and one of my legs will just ‘not work any more’.
But I *look* just fine.

FYI, the one time I’ll never forget was in a Best Buy.
I had crouched down to look at something on a bottom shelf and when I went to stand up, about a third of way up, my left leg said “Like hell you will” and I crashed to the floor.
During a very busy Christams season, with the store packed full of shoppers, not ONE of the 6 “men” who walked right by me [as I was obviously, desprately struggling to stand] even bothered to *ask* if I needed help.
When I get the occasional “dirty look” from other parkers, I silently hope they get to endure just a *week* of what I go through every day of my life.
The pain would wipe that uppity sneer right off their faces.
FYI, the cop was -wrong-.
That tag is registered ONLY to the person to whom it was
-prescribed- and they -can- check the system to see if the driver is the owner of the tag.
If the driver is not and there is no one else with them who *does* own the tag number legally, they will get fined.

When my mom is with, but not going in to the store, I don't park in a handicap. I can walk fine, and if I take a spot, I might be taking up a spot that someone elses mom might need.
