"Great. Wonderful. Terrific." (My youngest daughter's stock answer to "How was school today?" when she was in grade school.)
Enjoy your time in NY the City?
Saw "Atlas Shrugged Part 1" last night and thought it quite worthy of the book. I was so concerned that any attempt to bring it to the screen would fall short, but I think they did a great job. The casting was great, the acting superb and they managed to set the proper tone for the theme. Gotta wait until 4/14/12 for Part 2, and 4/15/13 for Part 3.

Ed has next week’s playlist up already, but he’s going to have to fix it. Has two shows at the 10:00 slot and tonight’s 10:30 show as a repeat.

Dashiell Hammett is among my favorite authors. The Strand Magazine, in its current issue, has a “new” Dashiell Hammett shot story, never before published. I purchased the issue and the story “So I Shot Him” is a little gem. Apparently the Hammett Estate has several other unpublished short stories by Dashiell.

He’s very talented! The estate held out on some of his stories? Wow!
I told Keith he needs to get some Wild Root Cream Oil Tonic, and he said he could just not wash his hair for a few days for the same effect. HA!

Do they even make that stuff anymore? or Brylcreem? or Vitalis? The latter had to be the worst stuff ever to put on hair. It contained alcohol, which readily evaporates. What’s that all about?

Yes, NYC was fun for a few days. Great restaurants.
I'm surprised to see you say that about Atlas Shrugged.

Oh, I’ll bet there are still variations of those old products. There will still be fellows who have always used them.
This latest mystery of the Alphabet Club was hard to follow! A classy mystery!

Keith pointed out that Murrow sold out William Shirer, a fellow WWII journalist who wrote great books, to the HUAC—a completely bogus charge.
Keith calls Murrow a commie sympathizer.
